Wordless Wednesday: Grab a Chair

via Kaboompics

If you could sit down and have coffee with one person today, who would it be? A mentor, a friend, someone you've never met?  This image reminds me of Saturday mornings at the Pearl having coffee and chatting with friends.  Sometimes at a table on a city street, you can still feel like you're in your own world.

:) Happy Wednesday

  1. I would love nothing more than to sit and talk to my Grandpa for one more time! I am so lucky to have had him in my adult life, but I would love to have him back, just one more time.

    1. I love this so much. My grandfather was such a fun character. I think he would enjoy the grown up me. He called me baby chicken.

  2. Miss King (see comment above) got me thinking. I'd want to sit and have coffee with my Dad. He passed away in February and was quite ill for a long time before that. I used to go to his house on Saturday mornings, drink coffee, and visit. He always introduced me as his "school teacher daughter". Great question!

  3. How I do love to have a great chat... hard to pick, but probably my dad, too. He passed away one year ago in March. He was always happy and impressed with what I did with kids. He was easy to impress, but I loved him for it. On this same note, I've vowed to have at least one coffee/breakfast/lunch with friends I hardly see each week this summer. I have some friends I wouldn't see at all if I didn't HAVE a summer :P See you around.
